Back in the day

I’m finishing up my dissertation proposal. Only one of my the works I’m referencing is available online; it is worth a look if you haven’t read it before – Fiona Ross’ “Non-Latin Type Design at Linotype,” a transcript of a paper presented at Twentieth Century Graphic Communication, the First annual Friends of St Bride conference (2002). I’ll put up the complete text of my dissertation proposal next week.
