Over at Art. Lebedev’s website, there is a cute little Internet thing where you can squoosh type with a little slider. This is kind of neat, and is just like an exercise we did during our first design workshop here at Reading. Paul and Rob, this link is for the both of you.

i’d seen this before, it’s a bit humorous, but misleading. i guess it might be good to advise the layman not to squoosh type at all, but if a pro knows what to look for as I outlined on my blog, then it all depends on the design. hmm… i might try seeing how squooshable my design is now…
It seems to quote Frutiger’s discussion about the proper vertical placement of the crossbars on the a and the e… that used the Mona Lisa, too.
