Hanukkah Card Kit from Ascender

I like this. You know how font foundry promotions tend to go. I mean, they’ll bundle “Christmas fonts” and “Easter fonts” or “Holiday fonts,” etc. Today, Ascender has released a package for Hanukkah. See it here, now. The fonts? Antrax, Caslong Titling, Colmcille Italic, Dorchester Script, and Lydian. No Hebrew in there, but the list makes me happy nevertheless. At $9.99, you could even afford to buy eight of these, and give each one as a present to different special someone every night! Via Microsoft Typography.

Dan Reynolds is a typeface designer and typographic researcher in Berlin. TypeOff.™ – this blog – launched in 2004; it was founded by a collective of typography students in Offenbach, Germany. The members of this team have each moved on to better things, but the »Offenbach Typostammtisch« inaugurated by the group still meets monthly. Its dates and locations are listed on spatium’s website.
